ANALISIS TINGKAHLAKU LISAN DAN BUKAN LISAN PESERTA KEM KEMAHIRAN BERTUTUR BAHASA ARAB

Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti jenis penggunaan tingkah laku lisan dan bukan lisan dalam kalangan pelajar ketika menemu bual pelancong Arab dan menganalisis isu yang mencetus kepada jenis penggunaan tingkah laku lisan dan bukan lisan. Tingkah laku lisan dan bukan lisan ini merupakan antara cabang kaedah komunikasi semasa sedang berinteraksi samada bersama penutur jati dan juga bukan penutur jati. Kajian ini mengguna pakai teori berkaitan Verbal And Nonverbal Behaviors Interrelate During Human Interaction, iaitu Repeating (pengulangan), Conflicting (percanggahan), Complementing (pujian), Substituting (penggantian), Accenting (perubahan nada suara), dan Regulating (pengaturan). Kajian ini menerapkan kaedah kualitatif secara pemerhatian langsung, berstruktur dan tidak turut serta kepada 30 orang peserta kem kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab yang disertai oleh lima orang penutur jati bahasa Arab. Satu senarai semak dijadikan instrumen kajian untuk mengenalpasti jenis tingklah laku yang digunakan oleh peserta kem. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa lima daripada enam tingkah laku digunakan oleh peserta kem kemahiran iaitu pengaturan sebanyak 32.77%, diikuti oleh perubahan nada suara (23.33%), pengulangan (16.67%), penggantian (16.12%), dan pujian (11.11%). Kem kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab susulan wajar dilakukan dengan aktiviti yang berbeza supaya pelajar lebih didedahkan dengan pelbagai kosa kata lain dan situasi yang berbeza agar dapat meningkatkan keyakinan dan pendedahan kepada mereka.
This study was conducted to identify the types of verbal and non-verbal behavior among students when interviewing Arab tourists and to analyze the issues that lead to the use of verbal and non-verbal behaviors. Verbal and non-verbal behavior is one of the branches of communication methods while interacting with native speakers and non-native speakers. This study uses the theory related to Verbal And Nonverbal Behaviors Interrelate During Human Interaction, namely Repeating, Conflicting, Complementing, Substituting, Accenting, and Regulating. This study applies qualitative methods through direct, structured and non-participatory observation to 30 Arabic speaking skills camp participants who are joined by five native Arabic speakers. A checklist was used as a research instrument to identify the types of behaviors used by camp participants. This study found that five out of six behaviors were used by the participants of the skills camp, which was arrangement by 32.77%, followed by changing the tone of voice (23.33%), repetition (16.67%), substitution (16.12%), and praise (11.11%). A follow-up Arabic speaking skills camp should be done with different activities so that students are more exposed to various other vocabulary and different situations in order to increase their confidence and exposure.
