Retraction, Withdrawal and Digital Archiving Policy
Quantum Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (QJSSH) follow the COPE Retraction Guidelines, whereby journal editors should consider retraction a publication if they have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g., data fabrication) or honest error (e.g., miscalculation or experimental error); the findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper crossreferencing, permission or justification (i.e., cases of redundant publication); as well as plagiarism and unethical research cases detected.
In withdrawal policy by QJSSH journal, authors are allowed to withdraw his or her article that had been submitted to this publication. In order to do so, the corresponding author is required to agree on the terms: (a) withdrawal charges of USD 300; (b) explaining his or her attention of withdrawal; and (c) the withdrawal process took 30 working days.
The editorial board is striving to digitally archive all published articles, especially in National Library of Malaysia. All published articles by QJSSH will be deposited under Deposit of Library Material Act 1986 to Depositori PNM.
The QJSSH has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journal via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
